High Voltage Cable Jointing is a specialist service offered by proton, across both paper insulated cables and XLPE (Cross linked polyethylene) to 132KV.

With extensive high voltage cable jointing experience, we are a preferred high voltage service provider - particularly across the mining and Industrial sectors of Central QLD.

Our High Voltage Cable Jointing Services also include Mining Cables Terminations - EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) in Draglines, shovels and Stacker /re-claimer reeling cables.

HV Cable Nitrogen Purging

High Voltage Nitrogen Purging is an effective solution to remedy moisture ingress into conductors & screens of HV insulated cable.

Engineered to deliver 30 cubic meters per hour of 99% pure nitrogen - at pressures up to 30 bar - our unit is able to dramatically improve insulation testing results , while guarding against water-treeing in the cable's primary insulation

Proton Power can custom-engineer the injection method to suit client requirements - depending on cable size, intended application and related specs.

Oil Testing & Analysis

Regular sampling and analysis of transformer oil is paramount to maximising transformer performance.
